Partner leads the ♠Q against 3NT, and this is the time to take stock of the hand, before playing a card to trick one. After you follow with a low spade, declarer ducks this trick, wins the ♠J continuation with the ace and leads the ♥2 to the ♥4 and ♥Q. Plan the play at IMPs, where your objective is to defeat the contract.

Solution:
You know that declarer has two spade tricks, and three aces in the other suits on top. Partner played his lowest heart showing three cards in the suit. Say you win the ♥K and clear spades. Declarer will cross to dummy twice in hearts to take two diamond finesses, and end up with 2 spades, 3 hearts, 3 diamonds and 1 club trick (if he chooses to take a club finesse the second time he is in dummy, he will end up with 10 tricks, thanks to the ♦K falling doubleton).

Is there anything you can do to try and restrict declarer to eight tricks? Most certainly - you should duck the ♥Q. Declarer will take a diamond finesse, and play a heart to the jack; you should duck this trick as well! Declarer can now make his contract by settling for 2 spades, 3 hearts, 3 diamonds and 1 club, but having seen all finesses work, declarer is likely to be in a finessing spree and play a diamond off of dummy, covering your king with his ace, and then take a third heart finesse. The roof caves in, for you will win the ♥K and play a spade to lock declarer in his hand, restricting him to 2 spade tricks, 2 heart tricks, 3 diamond tricks and 1 club trick for a total of eight tricks.

Note that it is extremely safe for partner to give you count in the heart suit - partner would play his lowest card from K842 as well, declarer has no way to detect partner's heart holding from the card he plays, especially if you duck your ♥K smoothly.

Analysis:
Since the contract is laydown as the cards lie, and the key on this deal is to lay a trap for declarer, the double dummy solver is not quite suitable to analyze this deal.
